Rates
The magic of flat-rate billing
If I were to bill you by the hour, I’d have to bill for all the hours I spend thinking on the road, while reading books to my son, lying awake at 1:43 AM or eating dinner – not to mention the time spent writing, rewriting and editing. That would be nearly impossible to quantify or prove. Instead, let’s just talk about expectations and agree on a flat rate. This gets you the best deal, too. If you have to have an hourly rate, let’s call it $100-200, but there’s a lot that goes into that and it’s not at all comparable to a typical hourly rate.
