Work

I spent eleven years living the agency life, cultivating a vast landscape of client work. Museums and marathons, fast food and non-profits, healthcare and horse racing, casinos and construction companies.

Better still, I was able to create award-winning work for every conceivable medium – and hone my ability to attack and solve any problem. Since starting my own business, I’ve taken on much more diverse clients, from writing websites for local companies and helping families with memorialization to crafting nationwide TV campaigns for large companies.

Samples

Below is a needle-drop sampling of my writing. The words are mine, but the art, editing, layouts and much more are credited to the talented people I was privileged to work with.

I didn’t set the type – I just did the thinking.

Websites

I didn’t build these, but I did write a great majority of the content:

A few sites I built from scratch and wrote.

Looking Back. Thinking Forward.

Approaching the 25th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, It was up to me to create The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum’s vision for their next 25 years. Looking Back, Thinking Forward was the result.

For the 2019 “Give” Campaign, I wanted to challenge people to donate - but do it in a way that might surprise them.

Television

I have much more television work done through the years, but here are a couple favorites.

Radio

I love writing and directing radio. The theater of the mind allows for infinite imagination – even with very finite budgets. I’ve written more than a thousand spots, but here are a few random samples.
